In 2023 I started recreating Johannes Vermeer’s single, solitary female figures using freshwater pearls. Called the Pixelated Pearl Vermeers, they measure around 61×78cm each; which isn’t huge, but definitely requires a financial and physical commitment to bring into one’s home. So in 2024 I designed these pieces as their more accessible, and easy-to-decorate with children. I love them. And I hope you will too.

  • PHOTOS SHOW THE VERSION WITH THE VELVET BACKING

  • Frame not included but IS RECOMMENDED AS EDGES ARE RAW

  • Made from natural materials which may not hold their color in direct sunlight

  • Hang out of direct sunlight to prevent fading/damage

  • Do not clean with a vacuum, feather duster, or lamb’s wool duster as this may dislodge/damage the pearls

  • Clean using an air blower or a soft synthetic paintbrush
